Social Security Form SSA-1099

Anyone who receives Social Security benefits during the year will receive a Form SSA-1099 from the Social Security Administration. A tax year 2025 Form SSA-1099 will be available online by February 1, 2026.

How do I Get My Form SSA-1099?

• It will be mailed to you in January each year,

• You can use your online my Social Security account to download a PDF of the tax form. Sign In or Create an Account - Once you are logged in to your account, select the "Replace Your Tax Form SSA-1099/SSA-1042S" link. Go to the "Choose a year" dropdown menu. Choose the desired year and select the "Download" link,

• You can Call Social Security Administration at (800) 772-1213, Monday through Friday from 8am to 7pm, OR

• You can Contact your local Social Security office.
